Adam is a Melbourne based artist who received his BFA (Hons) from the Victorian College of the Arts. Since graduating Adam has exhibited widely and undertaken residencies in Beijing and New York and locally with City of Bayside and Hazelhurst Regional Gallery.
He has been the recipient of numerous grants and prizes, including the Montalto Sculpture Prize, the Fiona Myer Award, the Orloff Family Charitable Trust Scholarship and travel grants from the Ian Potter Cultural Trust and the City of Boorandara. Recently, he has been a finalist in the McClelland Gallery Sininni Prize, the Fishers Ghost Prize, the M Collection Prize, The Deakin Small Sculpture Prize and the Churchie Emerging Artist Award.
Adam has exhibited in both group and solo shows at non-profit, commercial and public galleries in Australia, Asia and America. Recent solo exhibitions include: Concrete Islands, COMA, Sunset Décor, LON Gallery, A Leaf Blower in the Garden of Eden, Stockroom, The Devil’s Honey, C3 Contemporary Art Space, If You Ask Me Nicely I’ll Tell You Everything, Fort Delta, Low Hanging Fruit, Bus Projects and Cane Toad, Fort Delta. Selected group exhibitions include: Hell n’ Back, CAVES, A Passion Shared, Maitland Regional Gallery, A Place For Everything, Artbank, New Acquisitions, Deakin University Gallery, Containment Field, COMA, Train(ennial), C3 Contemporary Art Space, SPRING 1883 with Fort Delta and The Joke, Neon Parc.
Adam has created public sculpture projects for the City of Yarra and Moonee Valley.
His work is held in public and private collections in Australia and Asia, including the Artbank, Deakin University, Joyce Nissan, Town Hall Gallery, IOAM and Elliott Eyes Collections.
Adam is the co founder and director of LON Gallery, Melbourne.
